Bulk pricing & price lists
Create rule-based price updates across your catalogue by category or tag — preview before you apply.
Bulk pricing lets you update prices across hundreds of products at once using simple rules, so you never have to edit items one by one.
How to set it up
- Go to
/app/bulk-pricingin your Retailos dashboard. - Choose your adjustment type — either a percentage change or a fixed amount to add or subtract from the current price.
- Filter the products you want to update by selecting a category, a tag, or a combination of both. This scopes your rule to exactly the right part of your catalogue.
- Review the preview that appears before anything is saved. It shows you the before and after price for every affected product.
- Once you are happy with the changes, apply the rule. Prices update across your catalogue immediately.
Tips
- Always use the preview step before applying. It is the safest way to catch unintended price changes — for example, if a tag is shared across more products than you realised.
- You can target a very specific subset of products by combining a category filter with a tag filter at the same time.
- If your catalogue is synced with Shopify, updated prices will reflect in your Shopify store as well, since Retailos maintains a two-way sync with Shopify.
- Percentage rules are useful for blanket seasonal markdowns or margin adjustments. Fixed-amount rules work well when you need to shift prices by a precise rupee value, such as absorbing a GST change.
Troubleshooting
- More products were updated than expected — Check which tags are applied to your products. A single tag can be attached to many categories, so the filtered set may be larger than it looks. Use the preview to verify before applying.
- Price changes are not showing on my Shopify store — Retailos syncs with Shopify automatically, but sync can take a few minutes. Refresh your Shopify admin after a short wait. If prices still do not appear, confirm that your Shopify connection is active under your integration settings.
- I want to undo a price change — Retailos does not have an automatic rollback for bulk price updates. You can run a new bulk pricing rule to reverse the change manually using the same filters and an opposite adjustment value.
